Loaf Cafe Bakery is a bright yellow building situated on the Grosvenor Road just across the road from the Royal Victoria Hospital. It is part of Loaf Catering and Cafes, our social enterprise that provides outside catering across Greater Belfast and operates two City Centre cafes as well as the recently launched Loaf Pottery in Crawfordsburn.
Speaking about her award Cathy said, “I was delighted to be named the Cafe Manager of the Year! I have managed Loaf Cafe & Bakery since it opened in June 2015 and it has been a pleasure to help shape it into the thriving social enterprise it is now.
“At Loaf we pride ourselves on providing fresh, local food that caters to all tastes. We have a fantastic team working in the cafe and regularly receive excellent feedback about the quality of customer service. What makes Loaf special is our social mission – we provide 10 jobs and 100 training opportunities for people with learning difficulties and autism each year. My award has pride of place in the cafe now as I think it belongs to our brilliant staff, participants and customers as well!”
Well done Cathy!
